After reading your Question "How to ask a good Question in freedly". I was wondering what would you class as a great question in Freedly forum?
When I came about reading your answer to my question that i asked a couple of weeks ago on this forum I saw that your refereed to the statement don't ask a good question ask a great question, so is there a way to ask a great question in freedly to get lots of views and answers for the forum. So is there much difference between a good and a Great question on this or any other forum?

That is a good question.
Not a great question.
It is good because:
- It is relevant
- It has never been asked before
- It refers directly to an existing answer, giving a chance to improve it
- It specifically mentions getting lots of views and answers, which is probably the best measure of a great question.
A great question is a good question that is hard to make better. I think I could make it better, but I might be wrong. I will give my opinions, and if I am right, people will vote me up.
Title: too long. How can I be great on Freedly? or How can I be an Awesome Freedly Question Writer? or some other eye-catching question.
I'll settle for What is an Awesome Freedly Question?
I like to capitalize key words. It draws attention to readers, and it keeps me focused on what the question is really about - Freedly Questions that are better than good.
I like to flow with similar words. This is tricky to get right, and tricky to explain, but in my answer, I compared good and great - both g words. Now I want to stand out more, so I'm upping the greatness and going for Awesome.
First paragraph:
What do you want?
I want my questions to be the best. I want to be an awesome Freedly questioner.
Second part - may be more than one paragraph:
Why do you want it:( AKA what's your problem)
I read an answer to How to ask a good Question in Freedly, which said ask "great questions, not good ones. Why settle for good enough, when you can be great?"
I have read 30 questions here, and asked many myself, but I do not think they are great. Sometimes not even good, as I got voted down once.
Third part - may be more than one paragraph:
What have you tried?
I have searched in the box at the top of the page for my question, but it only came back with one result which was an unrelated question I asked earlier.
Is there a guide somewhere to help me right better questions?
After all that, read your question back to make sure it makes sense, then check your question title to make sure it attracts attention in as few words as possible.
Go back and make your good question better. That is the difference - you saw it was good, you succeeded in making it better, you made it a great question. I guess the only real difference is a little extra care, double check, and improve if you can.
Putting all those together, the great question is:
What is an Awesome Freedly Question?
I want my questions to be the best. I want to be an awesome Freedly questioner, attracting the most views and the most votes to get the most points
I read a related answer (How to ask a good Question in Freedly - linked below), which said ask "great questions, not good ones. Why settle for good enough, when you can be great?"
I have read 30 questions here, most of which are mine, but I do not think they are great. Sometimes not even good, as I got voted down once.
I have tried to find a guide somewhere to help me write better questions. I have searched in the box at the top of the page for my question, but it only came back with one result which was an unrelated question I asked earlier.
What is the difference between a good and a great question?
[note that the final version is revised from my explanation text - I tried to make it better. Please vote this answer up if you think it shows how to make a good question great.]
