Whilst general discussions about freedom of speech are interesting, Freedly is all about practical ways to promote freedom for individuals.

I start from the basis that, within the bounds of honesty, decency and legality, anyone on the Internet is free to say what they like. The only other requirement, on Freedly, is that contributors show respect, as explained in the forum guidelines.

Therefore, it is perfectly OK to ask questions like this, but it will never get a good answer from me, or anyone else that is serious about contributing here, and becoming an expert.

If an individual explains the restrictions, how it affects their lives, what they want to do, and how those restrictions prevent them from doing what they want to do, then that is something we can help with.

In fact, I will do everything I can to make life better for someone who takes the time to explain their personal situation, and asks for achievable help with specific needs.

I will ignore general discussion that can never have an improvement, because it is too vague to be measured.

You might think that makes this a bad question. However, I think it is good because it gives a chance to clarify what Freedly is all about. It is only good because it is the first one - anymore questions like this are likely to get voted down.
